Flats and students change the plan
With more than a third of Bristol homes in flats, Royal Mail Door to Door is often the better choice for the centre of the city, because postal workers can get past secure entry. In areas of houses, our teams work well.
Students are the other thing to plan around. Redland, Cotham, Bishopston and the city centre change hands every September, so timing matters. The Gym Group used LDM to reach student areas in central Bristol for its September relaunch, with sectors chosen around its sites.

When is the best time to leaflet students in Bristol?
Late September, once term has started and new tenants have moved in. Leaflets that land in August often go through the door of an empty house.
Can you get leaflets into Bristol blocks of flats?
Yes, through Royal Mail Door to Door. Postal workers already have access to most blocks, so your leaflet reaches the same letterboxes as the post.
Does the BS postcode include Bath and Weston super Mare?
Weston super Mare is in BS (BS22 to BS24). Bath is in the BA postcode area and can be added to a Bristol campaign.
Which Bristol district has the most homes?
BS16, covering Fishponds, Downend and Staple Hill, with 38,982 homes on Royal Mail’s October 2026 count. It is the largest district on any of our city pages.

Shared delivery starts at £88.25 per 1,000 for 10,000 leaflets under 20g and falls to £61.04 per 1,000 at large volumes. Solus is from £179 per 1,000. All plus VAT and print.
