NE reaches far beyond the city
The NE postcode holds nearly five times as many homes as Newcastle itself. It covers Gateshead, North and South Tyneside, Cramlington, Blyth and much of Northumberland. Sunderland (SR) and Durham (DH) have their own postcode areas.
So the first question on any North East plan is how far your customers will actually travel. For a city centre business that might be a handful of NE1 to NE6 sectors. For a retail park it could be half the region.
New store openings in the North East
We plan door drops for Heron Foods new store openings, including openings in the North East. Each one starts with a map of the homes within easy reach of the new store, then the sectors are picked so the leaflets land in the days before the doors open.
The same approach works for gyms, restaurants and showrooms: draw the catchment, check the households inside it, and time the delivery to the launch.
